Four Norskies receive Badger-Large All-Conference recognition

The DeForest Norskies girls’ basketball team made a strong statement this winter, finishing their 2025-26 campaign with a 14-12 overall record.
But perhaps the most impressive part of the season is that their blossoming core is just getting started.
With the Badger-Large Conference announcing its All-Conference list this week, the Norskies saw four of their own receive such recognition.
All four of the student-athletes who found their name on the All-Conference list — Alexis Accuardi, Brinley Goninen, Allie Nordness and Addy Heuer — will return next season, positioning the Norskies to reach even greater heights next season.
Alexis Accuardi: First Team All-Conference
Alexis Accuardi showed why she was among the best in the Badger-Large Conference this season, averaging a near double-double, thanks to a team-high 14.5 PPG and 9.4 RPG.
The 6-foot-4 junior forward was a formidable three-level scoring threat all winter long, shooting at a 45.3 percent clip from the field and at an 81 percent clip from the charity stripe, both of which mark another team high for the Norskies.
Accuardi, who earned honorable mention All-Conference honors as a sophomore, notably broke the program’s single-game scoring record with 37 points on 12-for-18 shooting from the field during DeForest’s 69-47 win over McFarland in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Division II regional semifinals.
In addition to her scoring prowess, Accuardi averaged 2.7 BPG, 1.4 SPG and 2.1 APG.
Brinley Goninen: First Team All-Conference
Few players across the Badger-Large Conference could get hot from deep like Brinley Goninen.
This winter, the junior guard averaged 14.3 PPG, shooting at an efficient 36 percent clip from behind the arc. Goninen connected on 76 triples this season, knocking down three or more treys in 18 of DeForest’s 26 games — one of which included a white-hot 6-for-7 outing from deep during the Norskies’ win over Sun Prairie East.
Goninen, who received the honorable mention All-Conference nod during her sophomore year, increased her scoring average by over seven points per game, while also averaging 3.6 RPG, 3.0 APG and 2.0 SPG for the Norskies this season.
Allie Nordness: Honorable Mention All-Conference
Entering the 2025-26 high school girls’ basketball season, the DeForest Norskies were looking to fill the lead point guard role.
While only a sophomore, Allie Nordness stepped into the lead point guard role with authority, leading the Norskies in assists with an average of 4.6 APG.
She dished five or more assists 12 times this season, including a nine-assist outing during DeForest’s loss to Beaver Dam in late December.
